Uncolorblind is a blog, a diversity consulting company and a vehicle for change in the corporate world.
Uncolorblind was born from our passion for diversity and need for change that we could see and measure. For years, we spent our free time leading diversity organizations, boards and associations throughout the city of Chicago, pouring our passion for diversity into some of the most challenging issues facing our generation. We founded and created a pipeline program, served as consultants for non-profit organizations focused on increasing diversity and driving inclusion, joined advisory committees, taught diversity and inclusion workshops, seminars, and trainings, authored groundbreaking articles about the lack of diversity in the legal profession, and much more. It was the culmination of these experiences that led us to start a blog that told our story and a company that allowed us to change the narrative. Uncolorblind was a long time coming and the next stop on our diversity and inclusion journey.
Through our work, we learned that diversity issues are complex, and real, measurable solutions often include innovative approaches that simultaneously focuses on top-level managers and the diverse professionals who they seek to cultivate. Our company and approach are unique because we believe coordinated top-down and bottom-up strategies are necessary and the only method, to effectuate change that matters.
Our goal is to empower everyone to see, live, and embrace diversity.
